Musher Austin Schlater, at right, guides his sled and team of "dogs" as Marion Local fourth-graders recreate the well-known Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race on Wednesday afternoon. Thankfully, they encountered brilliant sunshine and 40-degree weather rather than sub-zero temperatures and blizzard-like conditions teams faced in Alaska.
