local picture
Senior members of the Tri Star Career Compact horticulture class tend to pots of geraniums inside the greenhouse at Coldwater schools. The students will sell different varieties of potted plants and hanging baskets from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. May 9 as a Mother's Day project. Plants also can be purchased from the class the week prior to Mother's Day, between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. The two-year horticulture program is taught by Michael Seibert and is attended by students from nine area high schools.
