* IMPACTS...Significant visibility reductions to near zero at times will necessitate extra caution for commuters through late morning. Temperatures below freezing in many areas will increase the threat for icy patches on elevated roadways.

Ruth Prescott
Ruth E. Prescott, 83, of Ridgeville, Ind., died at 10:56 p.m. April 14, 2009, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Ind.
She was born May 31, 1925, in Fort Recovery to Linville and Regina Killian Gagle. On Dec. 24, 1943, she married Calvin C. Prescott, who died Sept. 11, 2008.
Surviving are three daughters, Pamela K. (Tom) Mack, Wilkinson, Ind., Regina D. (Don) Reidy, Hartford City, Ind., Beverly M. (Rick) Garringer, Farmland, Ind.; a son, Calcy L. (Dawn) Prescott, Ridgeville; three sisters, Alice Jean (Carroll) Eichenaur and Verla Marie Roessner, all of Fort Recovery, and Clara Mae (Martin) McWay, Lima; a brother, Calvin Ray (Dorothy) Gagle, Portland, Ind.; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Linville Otto Gagle Jr.
She was a homemaker.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at MJS Mortuaries Ridgeville Chapel, Ridgeville, the Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Burial is at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Union City, Ind.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
