John Colson
John Wesley Colson, 74, of Van Wert, died June 10, 2009, at his residence.
He was born June 12, 1934, in Mercer County to James and Otha Yaney Colson. On June 29, 1963, he married Lucille Jeanette Roberts, who died Nov. 27, 1999.
Surviving are a brother, Elmer Colson, Celina; and a sister, Bernice May Huston, Celina; and 14 nieces and nephews.
Deceased are five brothers, Kenneth, Lester, Virgil Harlon and Russel Colson; and an infant sister.
He retired from Convoy Equity.
Services are 1 p.m. Monday at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial is at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
Calling is 11 a.m. until time of service Monday.
