Mercer Health Emergency Department physician Dr. Craig Dues shows visitors a piece of equipment in the new trauma area of the Coldwater hospital. The Dash 4000 Pro Patient monitor is flexible enough to move around the room and is used for multiple testing procedures typically only available in intensive care units. The new emergency room is the only one in Ohio to have the equipment; currently there are only 50 being used in the U.S., according to Director of Marketing and Communication Ken Obringer.
