Lowell Felver
Lowell "Pete" Felver, 90, 522 N. Cherry St., Celina, died at 7:30 p.m. June 26, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born July 6, 1918, in Celina, to George A. and Zoa Wilson Felver. On Aug. 25, 1946, he married Norma Sealscott, who died in August 2005.
Surviving are a son, Floyd "Chip" (Rosemary) Felver, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Linda Seibel, Celina; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Jeffrey Felver; and a brother, Donald Felver.
He retired from the former Huffy Bicycle Corp., Celina, after 20 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a 1936 graduate of the former Rockford High School. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Free and Accepted Masons, all of Celina, and the Mercer County Sportsman's Club.
Services were held today at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kim Miller officiated. Burial was at Buck Cemetery, Celina, with military honors conducted by the American Legion and VFW, both of Celina.
