Richard Fischer
Richard J. Fischer, 83, of Rossburg, died at 12:45 a.m. July 2, 2009, at Versailles Health Care Center.
He was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Montgomery County to John C. and Catherine Steinmetz Fischer.
Surviving are two brothers, Carl Fischer, Rossburg, and Arthur (Regina) Fischer, Versailles; and a sister, Mary (Herbert) Dirksen, Uvalde, Texas.
Deceased is a twin brother, Ralph Fischer.
He was a farmer and member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown, and the Knights of Columbus, Versailles.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. David Vincent officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home , Greenville.
