* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Ross, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move through the region Saturday into Saturday night. Given the saturated ground, additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding.

Eugene Howell
Eugene Wilson Howell, 82, 1352 Michael Ave., Celina, died at 6:20 p.m. July 8, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born July 31, 1926, in Lima to Philip and Virtue Wilson Howell. On Oct. 24, 1947, he married Matilda Fay Pfister, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Steven (Phyllis) Howell, Celina, a daughter, Suzanne Miller, Celina; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son-in-law, Glen Miller Jr.; two sisters, Naomi M. Williams and Loverda Myers; and a grandson.
He was a member of Mount Tabor Church of God, and a veteran of World War II serving as an American Merchant Marine.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Revs. Steven Howell and James Keiser officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
