John Kemper of Minster looks over memorabilia promoting musical entertainment at the former Kemper's Grove. The dance hall, which closed in December 1969, received an elaborate certificate, at left, in recognition of being a purveyor of Wiedemann's Fine Beer since 1938. Kemper is seeking more memorabilia from the establishment started by his grandfather in hopes of writing a book.
