The marketing and public relations committee of the Rockford Area Development Corporation currently is raising funds to build a new swimming pool complex near the ball diamond along North Front Street. The all-volunteer committee stands where the pool will be and includes Village Councilman Gene Steiner, left, (holding the drawing of the proposed complex), Sue Barna, Tom Rogers, Betty Belna, Rachel Perry, Nancy Leighner, William Miller and Village Administrator Jeff Long.
