At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation.
Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118.

Paul Hammond
Paul E. Hammond, 81, 311 Johnson Ave., Celina, died at 3:40 a.m. Aug. 5, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born April 12, 1928, in Celina to Richard and Esther Pierstorff Hammond. On Feb. 26, 1950, he married Joanne Kinkley, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Jon (Debbie) Hammond, Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Paula Hammond, Cleveland and Janice Hammond (Edward) Hemmelgarn, Shaker Heights; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Steven Hammond.
He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds, Celina, and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina. He graduated from Celina High School in 1946.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial is at a later date.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour prior to service at the church.
