Burkettsville Picnic
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

David Rauh of New Weston grills hamburgers for hungry festivalgoers at the Burkettsville Community Picnic. Helping with the process are Keith Powell of St. Henry, center, and Art Siefring of New Weston. The lunch stand at the event did a brisk business in spite of hot and humid weather conditions. Activities in the children's tent ranged from a football throw to Hot Shot Z Clown doing the Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey with youngsters.
