Margaret Lininger
Margaret G. Lininger, 83, 1708 Cheshire Drive, St. Marys, died at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Jan. 15, 1926, in St. Marys to Clarence and Thelma Ashton Caldwell. On Sept. 11, 1948, she married Harold Lininger, who died May 14, 1975.
Surviving are a son, Richard Lininger, St. Marys; a sister, Marvel Thomas, St. Marys; and two brothers, Robert (Mary Ann) Caldwell, St. Marys, and Rev. Walter (Shirley) Caldwell, Telford, Pa..
Deceased are two brothers, Jerry and Jack Caldwell; and a half brother, Albert Binkley.
She had worked at the former St. Marys Cotton Mill and for the city of St. Marys. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, both in St. Marys. She was a former member of the St. Marys Senior Citizens.
Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Walter Caldwell officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
