The dozen eggs was brought to the auction by Isaac Marchal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Marchal, and sold for $700. Isaac is a member of the Lassies and Lads 4-H Club and showed the champion standing large chicken. The proceeds from the eggs are shared by all poultry exhibitors, the Livestock Auction Committee for expenses and the Poultry Exhibitor Fund of the fair poultry department.
