The old building known as The Shack, located at Memorial Park in Coldwater, was razed today to make room for a new building. The village is performing the removal. "We plan to remove the existing structure while the plans for the new Shack are being finalized and then sent to the state for approvals. We are hoping to have the new facility ready for next spring," Village Administrator/Engineer Eric Thomas wrote. The new building is being made possible through a $90,000 donation to the Community Picnic Association from the Joan and Francis Pax Foundation.
