Norbert Reinhard
  Norbert L. Reinhard, 77, 324 West Main St., Crestline, died Oct. 7, 2009, at Wooster SubAcute and Rehabilitation after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Fort Recovery on May 28, 1932, to Joseph and Odelia Brackman Reinhard. On Sept. 13, 1958, he married Florence Anatra, who survives.
Other survivors are three daughters, Donna M. (Mark) Dreskler, Mansfield, Lisa A. Simmons, Mansfield, and Joann L. Palm, Crestline; a son; Thomas L. Reinhard, San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers; Jerome (Irene) Reinhard, Fort Recovery, Eugene (Edna) Reinhard, Plainfield, Ind., and Domonic Reinhard, Celina; two sisters, Irene Gardner, Vienna, Va., and Ethel Bruns, St. Henry; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Josie and Jerry Dunn, Leo and Jayne Anatra, Sam and Josie Anatra, Vic and Phyllis Anatra, Diane and Lowell Assenheimer, Bernie Wilson, Joe Abata, Madelyn Anatra, Jean Anatra and Marcia Anatra; and six grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Joseph and Robert Reinhard; a sister, Sister Sylvia Reinhard; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Frances Abata, Bart Anatra, Alex Anatra, Marianne and Albert Neuman, Matt Anatra, Albert Anatra, Denver Wilson, Belton Gardner, Gerald Bruns and Shirley Reinhard; and a son-in-law, Roy Palm.
He worked at Peabody in Galion as a sales order manager for over 30 years until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crestline, where he managed bingo, was a member of choir and volunteered in other capacities. He was a Third Degree member of the Monsignor Leo Frye Council Knights of Columbus, Crestline, holding several offices, including past grand knight. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Michael A. Geiger officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery, where full military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Army and the Crestline/Galion Veteran organizations.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline, where a vigil prayer service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
