Eileen Parker
Eileen Parker, 84, 2100 Celina Road, Lot 61, St. Marys, died at 5:12 p.m. Oct. 31, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Lima to Dewey and Florence Weaver Gross. On Jan. 18, 1960, she married Herb Parker, who died April 11, 2002.
Surviving are five children, Ronald Felton, St. Marys, James (Polly) Holl, Toledo, Janice Everman, Celina, Dee Holl, Denver, Colo. and Lisa Schumann, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Charles Gross; and a sister, Betty Hassen.
She worked at the former Huffy Corporation, Celina and graduated in 1943 from Lima Central High School. She was a member of the American Legion ladies auxiliary, St. Marys.
Services are 11 a.m. Friday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to service Friday at the funeral home.
