James Osborne
James R. Osborne, 68, 7010 Hamilton Road, Mendon, died Nov. 7, 2009, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Sept. 23, 1941, in Cincinnati to James and Garnett Korn Osborne. On July 6, 1991, he married Freda Ganger, who survives.
Other survivors are his children, Tracy (Craig) Adams, Fairfield Township, Mindy Osborne, Kentucky, James (Monica) Osborne, West Milton, and Michelle (Josh) Tays, Germantown; a brother, Dennis (Pauletta) Osborne, Montezuma, and a sister, Melody Whitaker, Cincinnati; and 10 grandchildren.
He worked at the former Huffy Bicycle Plant, Celina. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of Coldwater American Legion and Masonic Temple, Cincinnati.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home-Coldwater, the Rev. John Nunnally officiating. Burial is at Mendon Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Coldwater American Legion.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 Thursday at the funeral home.
