* WHEN...From 6 AM to noon EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...While temperatures are expected to be in the upper single digits (above zero), a northwest wind at 10-15 mph will make temperatures feel as if they are colder than 10 below zero.

Sergeant Ernest Zimmerman Jr.
Sergeant Ernest "Brian" Zimmerman Jr., 40, 418 S. Wayne St., St. Marys, died at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 13, 2009, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital after a three year battle with cancer.
He was born Aug. 29, 1969, in Montgomery County, Pa., to Ernest and Patricia Zimmerman Sr. His mother survives in Malvern, Pa. On Jan. 18, 1999, he married Kozue Suzuki, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Stephanie Zimmerman; a brother, Michael Neal, Malvern, Pa.; and his in-laws, Yasuo and Keiko Suzuki, Tokyo, Japan.
Deceased are a stepbrother, a sister, Gabrielle; and grandparents.
He pursued a career in Military Intelligence, first serving in the U.S. Marine Corps., the U.S. Navy and was currently an E5 Sergeant in the U.S. Army serving as a military intelligence analyst. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. He was Roman Catholic by faith.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial is at Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors conducted by a military contingent from Fort Knox, Ky.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to a fund established to pay for his daughter's college expenses.
