Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

Two men observe one of the pods where inmates will be housed at the Mercer County Adult Detention Center, west of Celina, during a dedication ceremony and public tour on Monday. Jail staff are currently being trained in the new facility and inmates are expected to move in Feb. 28.
