* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Mary Ann Baumer
Mary Ann Baumer, 83, of Minster, died Jan. 11, 2010, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
She was born July 14, 1926, in Osgood to Frank and Anna Winner Poeppelman. On July 16, 1949, she married Victor Baumer, who survives.
Other survivors are her six children, JoAnn (Gene) Jubinski, Dublin, Jerry (Phyllis) Baumer and Ben (Jill) Baumer, all of Minster, Vicki (Ed) Stangel, Bellbrook, Cris (Roy) Brookhart, Cary, N.C., and Patty (Greg) King, Rochester, Minn.; seven siblings, Carrie Cron of Idaho, Irene Prenger, Egypt, Alfrieda Puthoff, Yorkshire, Theresa Will, Minster, Edwin (Rosemary) Poeppelman, Osgood, Victor (Sylvia) Poeppelman of Texas, and Jeanne (Jim) Ebert, Duck River, Tenn.; a brother-in-law, Ray Prenger; and 16 grandchildren.
Deceased are three sisters, Romilda Prenger, Amelia Poeppelman and Luedna Poeppelman; and a brother, Frank Poeppelman Jr.
She worked for 40 years at Baumer Construction Co, Minster. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, and the Catholic Ladies of Columbia.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9-9:30 a.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
