Jerome Homan
Jerome "Jerry" Homan, 76, 500 E. Sycamore St., Coldwater, died at 2:40 p.m. Jan. 27, 2010, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1933, in Coldwater, to George and Veronica Severt Homan. On Aug. 9, 1958, he married Margaret Goecke Homan, who survives.
Other survivors are three sons, Dan (Jean) Homan, Greenville, Greg (Lori) Homan, Coldwater, and Tony (Christy) Homan, Maria Stein; six daughters, Marilyn (Roger) Fortkamp and Joyce (Mike) Hein, all of Fort Recovery, Anita (Tom) Muhlenkamp, Celina, Lori (Frank) Langenkamp and Marie (Jason) Beresik, all of Fort Loramie, and Jean (Larry) Jutte, Coldwater; and 32 grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Fred Homan; a daughter, Helen Homan; and a brother and sister-in-law, Wilfred and Veronica Homan.
He was a farmer and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and its Holy Name Society. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles, of Coldwater, and formerly served as a Coldwater Exempted Village Schools board member.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
