With accordion and banjo, Bette's Polka Band plays music much to the delight of old and young alike at the annual Fasching Fest on Tuesday night at the New Bremen American Legion hall. The event, sponsored by the Southwestern Auglaize County Chamber of Commerce and the Sons of the American Legion, is the German equivalent of Mardi Gras, ushering in the Lenten season with food, cold beverages and dancing.
