Betty Darst, who portrays First Lady Lucy Hayes, entertained history buffs in a program Sunday in New Knoxville, sponsored by the Auglaize County Historical Society. Darst wore a replica of the red velvet and ivory lace dress Mrs. Hayes wore for the official portrait that hangs at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C.
