At 1212 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near New Bremen, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include... Newport, Fryburg, Montra, Egypt, Uniopolis, New Bremen, Buckland, Botkins, New Knoxville, Fort Loramie, Kettlersville, Moulton, Jackson Center, St. Marys, Anna, Kossuth, Lakeview, Lake Loramie State Park, Waynesfield, and Wapakoneta. This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 96 and 118. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Scott Walters
Scott A. Walters, 49, of Oxford, died at 3 a.m. March 25, 2010, at Hospice in Hamilton.
He was born April 19,1960, in Cumberland, Md., to Lezon and Mary F. Willison Walters. His mother is deceased and his father survives in Forest Park. On April 23, 1994, he married Carolyn Rose, who survives.
Also surviving is a sister, Kay Walters, Cincinnati; and a mother-in-law, Margie Rose, Coldwater.
He graduated from Forest Park High School in 1978 and attended the University of Cincinnati. He worked at Proctor & Gamble in Cincinnati where he received patents in product development.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
