Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Virginia Hays
Virginia M. Hays, 95, Mendon, died at 9:56 a.m. April 5, 2010, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
She was born Feb. 22, 1915, in Mendon to Alton and Maude Sherer Mills. On March 12, 1935, she married Hubert D. Hays, who died April 9, 1981.
Surviving are a son, Mike Hays, Union City, Tenn.; a daughter, Pam Rasawuhr, Mendon; a brother-in-law, Bob Best, Lima; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Willis Luman Mills, Alton Mills and Vane "Whitey" Mills; four sisters, Ruth Hance, Esther Small, Fern Rigdon and Gwen Best; and a great-grandson.
She retired from Goodyear in St. Marys where she worked as an inspector for 20 years. She then worked for the former Empire Commissary in Celina. She was a member of Mendon First Church of God, the former Mendon Chapter 259 Order of the Eastern Star and Celina Chapter 91 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a 1933 graduate of Mendon-Union High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at W. H. Dick and Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon, the Rev. Dean Bruce officiating. Burial will be at Mendon Cemetery.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
