Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Margaret Braun
Margaret A. Braun, 87, 503 N. Second St., Coldwater, died April 22, 2010, at Briarwood Village, Coldwater.
She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Big Stone Gap, Va., to Hampton B. and Eva Gilliam Fleenor. Her parents and stepmother, Ollie Fleenor, are deceased. On Sept. 7, 1940, she married Anthony Braun, who died Oct. 10, 1990.
Surviving are three sons, Ron (Carolyn) Braun and Mike (Linda) Braun, all of Coldwater, and Jerry (Ruth) Braun, Mendon; a daughter-in-law, Karen Braun, Celina; five siblings, Paul (Mary) Fleenor, Versailles, Chuck (Nola) Fleenor and Marvin Fleenor, all of Dayton, and Aseneth (Gary) McConnaughy and Carson (Wanda) Fleenor, all of Tennessee; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Steven Braun; a daughter-in-law, DeeDee Braun; three siblings, Gladys Fleenor, James Fleenor and Una Wallace; and a granddaughter.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
