* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Franklin, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected today and tonight. Heavy rainfall is possible, especially tonight, which may result in flash flooding.

Gertrude Thompson
Gertrude M. "Trudy" Thompson, 92, Rockford, died at 11:24 p.m. May 2, 2010, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.
She was born Dec. 4, 1917, in Ada to Bert and Gwena Stemen McBride. On Aug. 31, 1941, she married Ernest C. Thompson, who died March 13, 1995.
Surviving are four sons, Robert (Louanna) Thompson, Steven (Marcia) Thompson and Philip Thompson, all of Rockford, and Paul (Kathryn) Thompson, Gallup, N.M.; a daughter, Ann (Rev. Gary) Brown, Akron; a brother, Nelson (Margaret) McBride, Casa Grande, Ariz.; a sister, Leota (Clarence Fulton) Barker, Westfield, Ind., 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Robert, Andrew, Howard and Lowell McBride; three sisters, Elizabeth Pizor, Ruth McBride and Helen McBride; a daughter-in-law, Gail Thompson; and a grandchild.
She was a high school French and English teacher at Cardington and was a substitute at Rockford. She also was a news correspondent for the Lima News and Van Wert Times Bulletin and a homemaker. She was a member of the Rockford United Methodist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. She also was a member of the Mercer County Retired Teachers Association.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Revs. Gary Brown and Chip Steffy, officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery in Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
