Marjorie Goodwin
Marjorie V. Goodwin, 90, formerly of 506 S. Beech St., died at 2:40 p.m. May 13, 2010, at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born Jan. 18, 1920 in Newport, Vt., to Royal and Dorothy Brulton Woodward. She married Willard Drummond, who is deceased. Later she married Wes Roberts and Alva Goodwin, who also are deceased.
Surviving are two children, Bill (Paula) Drummond and Dorothy Daniels, all of St. Marys; a daughter-in-law Ann Drummond of St. Marys; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, James Drummond; a daughter, Brenda Richardson; her siblings, Edward Woodard, Christine Spaulding, Gertrude Levesque, Virginia Chouianrd and Evelyn Ploof.
A homemaker, she had lived the past 25 years in nursing homes, first at Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys and then at Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
