* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

George Bihn
George J. Bihn, 99, Fort Recovery, died at 1:40 a.m. June 8, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
He was born Nov. 26, 1910, in Valley City, to Sylvan F. and Flora Weigel Bihn. On July 15, 1944, he married Rose C. Lauber, who died March 11, 2003.
Surviving is a sister-in-law, Cleopha Bihn, Fort Recovery.
Deceased is a brother, John Bihn, and four sisters, Marie Kramer, Frances Fullenkmap, Margaret Knapke and Lucy Borden.
He served as Mercer County commissioner for 12 years and as a chairman and recorder for the northwest section of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio. He was a chairman for the Mercer County Planning Commission and volunteered as chairman of the advisory board of the department of human services in Mercer County. He also served as chairman of the Joint Board of Commissioners of the former Tuberculosis Hospital in Lima. He was state director of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. He was trustee for Gibson Township and chairman of the Mercer County Township Trustee Association. He was a member of the chambers of commerce and a treasurer for Boy Scouts, both of Fort Recovery. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3324 in Fort Recovery and served as treasurer of its home corporation and as district deputy. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Sharpsburg, where he served as a lector and Eucharistic mnister.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery. The Knights of Columbus will have a prayer service at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
