During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Michele Westerheide
Michele L. Westerheide, 40, Minster, died at 3 a.m. June 24, 2010, at Hospice Inpatient Unit in Van Wert.
She was born April 17, 1970, in St. Marys, to Thomas J. and Joyce E. Brockman Wente. Both survive in Minster. On Sept. 16, 2000, she married Brian Westerheide, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are three children, Ethan, Alex, and Zachary Westerheide, all of Minster; three sisters, Christine (Luis) Trujillo, Naperville, Ill., Jennifer (Keith) Moeller, Delaware, and Kimberly (Joseph) Reed, Lewis Center ; a father-in-law, Lee Westerheide, Montezuma; three sisters-in-law, Sandy (Craig) Weaver, Scottsdale, Ariz., Christine (Jason) Wulff, Cedarburg, Wisc., and Kathleen (Tim) McGuire, Kingsford, Mich.; and two brothers-in-law, Keith (Betty) Westerheide, Minster, and Mark (Deb) Westerheide, Fort Loramie.
Deceased are grandparents, Charles and Henrietta Wente, and Earl and Yvonne Brockman; a mother-in-law, JoAnn Westerheide, and a brother-in-law, Scott Westerheide.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster. She graduated summa cum laude from OSU School of Dentistry. She worked as a Dental Hygienist at Fort Loramie Dental.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
