Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

Country Fest

It was a hot time in the old tent on Friday for Mark Homan as he ladled out steaming hot turtle soup at the Maria Stein Country Fest. The soup is offered by the Maria Stein American Legion and assisting Homan was fellow Legion member Dan Bills. The Country Fest continues through Sunday.
