During the predawn hours, winds will increase ahead of a low pressure system moving east through the lower Great Lakes. Gusts of 30 to 40 mph are expected through this afternoon, possibly gusting to 45 mph in a few spots. Wind is expected to decrease overnight but remain relatively strong at 20-25 mph this evening.
Please be aware of these strong winds especially if driving a higher profile vehicle. Secure loose outdoor objects and shore up seasonal decorations if possible.

Cody Wendel and Hank Thobe of Celina schools, at left, and Leo Vogel of Versailles, perform an experiment with water filters in the "Water Everywhere" class at Camp Inquire at St. Henry schools on Wednesday. The goal of the class is to teach the students to be environmental engineers, teacher Mary Ann Heitkamp said. Camp Inquire continues this week in St. Henry before ending next week in Fort Recovery.
