A quick few tenths to a half inch of accumulation will be possible, which would increase the potential for slick spots in localized areas. If traveling, use caution, as road conditions could quickly change across short distances and on elevated surfaces like bridges and overpasses.

Start of Freedom Days

A parade of military vehicles makes its way down Lake Shore Drive on Friday afternoon in preparation for the start of Freedom Days held at Celina's Lake Shore Park. An Amtrak LVT-4 used in the Clint Eastwood film "Flags of Our Fathers" will be on display during the festivities. Entertainment, food and rides for children will be available today and Sunday. The fireworks display begins at 10 p.m. tonight.
