Young decorators create unique picture frames during programs held Monday afternoon at Minster's Francis J. Stallo Library. Brock Schulte uses a blow dryer to make sure the paint is dry on his sister Paige's frame. Librarian Becky Prenger said 400 children are participating in the annual summer reading program with a record 1,000 books checked out the first day. The program, complete with weekly arts and crafts sessions, runs through July 26.
