Cincinnati Archbishop Dennis Schnurr speaks to Henry and Jane Steining of Wapakoneta following the annual farm Mass held this year at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in New Bremen on Tuesday evening. Schnurr blessed crosses and bottles of holy water. The event marked the first time Schnurr presided at the annual harvest-themed Mass, organized by the Catholic Rural Life Conference of the St. Marys and Sidney deaneries. Concelebrating the Mass were the Rev. Tom Mannebach of Holy Redeemer, area deacons Greg Bornhorst and Mark Meyer and several other local clergymen.
