* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Lilly Herzog
Lilly E. Herzog, 84, St. Marys, died at 8:02 p.m. July 16, 2010, at Valley Nursing Home in St. Marys.
She was born June 7, 1926, in St. Marys, to Ralph and Martha Moser Felver. On March 2, 1946, she married George Herzog, who died Nov. 17, 2002.
Surviving are five children, George (Theresia) Herzog, Jr., St. Cloud, Minn., Verlious (Joan) Herzog and Leslie (Joan) Herzog, all of St. Marys, Larry (Stacy) Herzog, Wapakoneta, and Merricle Herzog, Sidney; a sister, Marvalee (Howard) Germann, St. Marys; a brother, Ralph (Sharon Rose) Felver, Jr., Van Wert; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are six siblings, Louis Felver, Cleo Howell, Goldie Meyer, Ervin "Red" Felver, Carl Felver and Basil Felver, and a granddaughter.
She was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in St. Marys. She was also a homemaker and baby sitter.
Funeral rites are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens in St. Marys.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
