The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Birchie Fisher
Birchie "Lee" Fisher, 81, St. Marys, died at 3:37 p.m. July 22, 2010, in the emergency department at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Jan. 29, 1929, in Liberty Township to Birchie and Charlotte Belle Hole Fisher. He married Lillie Mae Liggett, who is deceased.
Surviving are two children, Bruce Fisher and Mae Fisher, both of St. Marys; and a sister, Ruth (Larry) Snook, Portland, Ind.
Deceased are three brothers, John, Buck and Paul Fisher; and three sisters, Pauline Braun, Florence Weaver and Iva Alt.
He was a 1947 graduate of Celina High School. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired from Reynolds and Reynolds in Celina.
Memorial services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery near Celina.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
