* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 421 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area, with numerous roads remaining closed due to high water. Between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Rex Boyer

Rex D. Boyer, 76, Montezuma, died at 3:35 a.m. May 30, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born Aug. 7, 1933, in Rossburg, to Kenneth and Mildred Tegtmeyer Boyer. He married Virginia Wehrkamp, who died in 2006.

Surviving are six children, Tony (Barb) Boyer, Springfield, Roseanne (Mike) Selhorst, Coldwater, Debbie Klosterman, Celina, Scott Boyer, Montezuma, Roger (Annie) Boyer, Celina, and Susie Wilker, Montezuma; three sisters, Judy (Ben) Hardy, Linda Wappelhorst, and RoxAnn (Mike) Barnes, all of Greenville; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two sons, Steve Boyer and Rex Allen Boyer Jr.

He was a retired truck driver.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Montezuma United Church of Christ.

Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater is handling the arrangements.
