Snowfall of at least an inch is expected across the region, with up to 2 inches possible. There is also the potential for brief intense bursts of snow, especially between 10 PM and 3 AM. Where these brief bursts of snow occur, visibility may drop suddenly, creating additional travel hazards tonight.
West winds will become northwest overnight, gusting as high as 30 to even 35 mph. This may cause blowing snow over roadways, even as the snow ends after 3 AM.

The 1486th and 1487th Transportation Units of the Ohio National Guard completed the move from St. Marys' Memorial High and McBroom Junior High schools to the new 6-12 school during the weekend. Most area schools start this week, but St. Marys doesn't start until Sept. 8 due to moving into the new school.
