Nicholas Franck
Nicholas Leo Franck, 10, St. Henry, died Sept. 23, 2010, as the result of a farm accident.
He was born Sept. 7, 2000, in Coldwater, to Douglas and Sarah (Kunkler) Franck, who survive.
Also surviving are eight brothers and sisters: Bradley, Janel, Natalie, Alex, Ben, Adam, Kaylee and Daniel, all at home; grandparents, JoAnn Kunkler, St. Henry, and William and Jean Franck, Portland, Ind.; great-grandparents, Velma Bergman, Maria Stein, and Margaret Munhenk, Dayton. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Kunkler.
A fourth-grader at St. Henry Elementary, he was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, where he was a mass server. He also was a member of the Lassies & Lads 4-H Club in St. Henry, and he liked to play football.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Carthagena.
