Tip leads to local man's arrest

A new enhancement to the Mercer County Sheriff's website allows the public to see a list of 549 people for whom warrants have been issued.
The site, located at warrants.mercercountysheriff.org, received nearly 200 hits and three tips in the two days following its activation last week. One of those tips led to the arrest of Cody Bevington of Rockford, who was wanted on a warrant out of Celina Municipal Court for operating a vehicle under the influence. [More]

Wildcats create three-way tie for first in WBL standings
KENTON - Celina's five-game winning streak was abruptly snapped at Robinson Field on Friday night against Kenton.
Kenton made it 10 straight wins over Celina as quarterback Maty Mauk accounted for eight touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to a convincing 58-14 victory over the Bulldogs.
MINSTER - The Minster Wildcats came into this game having only defeated the St. Henry Redskins once in the last 17 tries.
