* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Indiana, including the following counties, Fayette, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hardin, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby and Union.
* WHEN...From 4 PM EDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A complex of storms will develop later this afternoon and continue overnight. Repeated rounds of storms, combined with the extremely wet soil conditions will increase the risk for flash flooding later this evening into the overnight hours.

James Carmean
James S. Carmean, 89, St. Marys, died at 4:40 p.m. Oct. 28, 2010, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born Sept. 28, 1921, near Kossuth to Frederick and Eunice Williams Carmean. He married Mary May Martin, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Diana (Arthur) Nungester and Darlene Vaubel, both of Lima; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
He worked as an executive with the Midwest Electric Co-operative in St. Marys. He was active in 4-H, was an advisor to the St. Marys Fusebusters Club and served on numerous county and state level committees for 4-H. He received the first sales award from the National Electric Farm Council in 1973. He was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
Graveside funeral rites are 11 a.m. Monday at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, the Rev. Steve Weatherly officiating.
