Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

A Coldwater village employee hangs Christmas decorations across West Main Street on Monday afternoon. The street crews are taking advantage of the mild weather to complete the holiday decorating. Highs this week are expected to remain in the upper 60s until Saturday when a chance of rain is in the forecast.
