Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Steve Brunswick
Coldwater native Steve L. "Bum" Brunswick, 51, of Huber Heights, died Nov. 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born April 16, 1959, in Coldwater, to John and Madonna Jutte Brunswick, who survive in Coldwater.
Also surviving are three brothers, Michael (Cecelia) Brunswick, Everett, Wash., Dan (Cindy) Brunswick, St. Henry, and Carl (Cindy) Brunswick, Coldwater; two sisters, Linda Brunswick, Coldwater, and Janice (Joe) Gordon, Beavercreek; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Deceased are his grandparents, L.H. (Justine) Brunswick and T.E. (Mary) Jutte.
He was employed at Wright-Patterson in Dayton for 27 years. A 1977 Coldwater High School graduate, he also graduated from Miami University and earned a master's degree at Wright State University. He was a member of the Coldwater Eagles and the Progressive Sportsman's Club of Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Calling is 3-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
