Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

Norma Rammel
Norma M. Rammel, 83, Coldwater, died at 11:53 a.m. Nov. 24, 2010, at Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater.
She was born June 8, 1927, in Newport, to Raymond and Elizabeth Couchot Liette. On June 29, 1946, she married Arthur Rammel, who died Nov. 10, 2008.
Surviving are a son, Larry (Vickie) Rammel, Mechanicsburg; four daughters, Phyllis Rammel, Coldwater, Lois Stolzenburg, Celina, Kathy (Bob) Schulte, Celina, and Alicia Rammel, Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Lowell (Madonna) Liette, North Star, and Ralph (Ella Mae) Liette, Chickasaw; two sisters, Connie (Urban) Winner, Osgood, and Judy (John) Knight, Springfield, Va.; a brother-in-law, Bob (Edna) Stout, St. Henry; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are four sisters, Ruth Heistand, Dolores Byrd, Susie Gilliland and Helen Stout.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater and St. Ann's Ladies Sodality. She was a homemaker. She worked at Huffy's for 18 years and was an upholsterer and a seamstress.
Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Barry Stechschulte officiating. Burial is at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater.
Calling is 2-6 p.m. Sunday and 12:30 -1:30 p.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
