St. Marys' Derek Roop, 23, is fouled by Coldwater's Kevin Timmerman, left, during their nonconference contest on Saturday night. Roop scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Roughriders to a 50-43 win over the Cavaliers at The Palace. It's the first win of the season for St. Marys.
