Cactus Sticks, a 7-inch Hopi kachina, is carved in cottonwood and boldly painted in rich reds, browns and turquoise with black and white accents. Originally kachinas were a way ofto teaching youngsters about the deity and spirits the dolls represent in the Hopi culture.
