The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 1100 AM EDT.
* At 826 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Ohio, including the following counties, in central Ohio, Delaware, Franklin, Licking, Madison and Union. In west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will move across parts of the area this morning, possibly extending into early afternoon. This may result in bands of heavier rainfall that could lead to flash flooding.

Ralph Anderson
Ralph W. "Zeke" Anderson, 92, Celina, died at 3:45 a.m. Jan. 9, 2011, at his home.
He was born June 9, 1918, in Mercer County to Charles and Mary Granger Anderson. He married Beulah Nettrower, who died in 1969. On Sept. 20, 1980, he married Betty J. May, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Doug (Susan) Anderson, Stephenville, Texas, Robin (Kaci) Anderson, Celina, Scott (Jo) Anderson, Celina, and Neal (Sandy) Anderson, Botkins; a stepson, Tom (Debi) May, Celina; a daughter, Cheryl (Ron) Hare, Winterhaven, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Linda (Carl) Youmans, St. Marys, and Betsy Jane (Dan) Muter, Elcajon, Calif.; a brother, Byron (Garnett) Anderson, Celina; a sister, Olive Miller, Celina; and a sister-in-law, Jeanie Anderson, Celina; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a brother, Tom Anderson; and a sister, Thelma Boroff.
He was a graduate of Washington Township in 1936. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He retired as an engineer for the city of Celina. He was a member of the Celina First Church of God, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, all of Celina. He also was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Richard Van Horn officiating. Burial with military rites is at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Military rites will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Celina Community Health Professionals.
