* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Marcella Schroer
Marcella "Granny" Schroer, 81, Celina, died at 3:10 p.m. Jan. 12, 2011, at Golden Living Center in St. Marys.
She was born April 3, 1929, in Lima to Albert and Olive Balliet Crouse. On May 30, 1947, she married Harold H. Schroer, who died in 1994.
Surviving are two sons, Ed (Kathy) Schroer, Conroe, Texas, and Nick (Deb) Schroer, Celina; three daughters, Linda Williams, Celina, Mary Harris, Celina, and Bonnie (Larry) Allen, Portland, Ind.; a brother, Richard (Marian) Crouse, St. Marys; a sister, J. Dilva Craft, Rockford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Also deceased is a daughter, Alice Schroer; a sister, Freda Becker; two brothers-in-law, Edward Becker and Edgar Craft; and two sons-in-law, Donald Harris and Lewis Williams.
He retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant in St. Marys after 30 years. He was a member of the Anderson-Bethel Church of God in Mendon, a 1947 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School and was a member of the Old Fashion Farmers Flee Market.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, the Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Neptune Cemetery.
